3. WORKING MODEL

Def:  It’s a model of an actual or proposed machine that can do on a small scale work, which the machine itself does, or, is expected to do. The participants will expose their own designed working models provided with complete explanation of the Circuit so the models can have competition based on their complexity and application.

4. TECHNICAL QUIZ

        Def: Technical Quiz is a Crowd Sourcing Event of any Technical fest. The contestants in group are to the maximum of 5. At first there will be written test based on technical aspects. It is an elimination round. The shortlisted teams are advanced into next round and into quiz of different rounds. Two Winner Team will be declared based on the marks secured by them in different Quiz rounds.

5. Young Reporter:

Def: Each Student will be given a topic, before 1hr to the presentation, that is related to their subject or that is economical, political of any other related subject and they have to present like a reporter.

6. Paper script:

Def: This is the new event which designing of the news paper with the technological brain and presenting in the new format without the matter presented in the news paper given.


 

RULES & REGULATIONS

·      Anybody with valid ID card is welcome to Participate

·      Decision of judge will be final and binding.

·      There is a preliminary round followed by two technical rounds to reach the finals.

·      Each round has the process of elimination.

·      Improper sheets will be rejected.

7. INDUSTRY DEFINED PROBLEM

Def: Every industry  faces some problems, and Engineer must dectet and solve the problem. Here, we will allot problems, you suggest solutions, the best solution will be awarded.

·      The Competition is open to all with valid ID cards.

·      The decision of judge will be final and binding.

·      The problem should be relevant and apllicable to Industry.

·      Answers must be original and proper.

8. Lathe war

Def: We are the persons for making the right thing for the right purpose so we have to prove ourselves as good professionally in the lathe operations. Also we will give some lathe operation for you, you should complete with in the duration of time.

 

RULES & REGULATIONS

 

·      Raw material given should not be wasted.

·      One should not break or damage the lathe machine or cutting tool

·      Proper dimensions should be done without any mistake.

·      Anybody with valid ID card is welcome to Participate

·      Decision of judges will be final and binding.

 

REGISTRATION FEE:

           GENERAL REG FEE :100/- (PER HEAD)

          EVENT FEE: 50/- (PER HEAD).

          Final decision will be taken by Organizing Committee on this.

 

9. CADD MODELING:

Def: All that you need to do is to solve the given problem statement, using your creative design skills. More simple and effective design is obviously given the first preference. Obviously the fastest and the finest finger wins.

RULES & REGULATIONS

  • A maximum of two members per team is allowed.
  • Team members can be from different institutions.
  • There will be three rounds:
    • Round 1: Written Prelims
    • Round 2: Drafting
    • Round 3: Modeling
  • The call of judges will be the final.

 ROUND 1: WRITTEN PRELIMS

  • The Prelims will consist of Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Questions will be from the fundamentals of Engineering Drawing and Machine Drawing.

 ROUND 2: DRAFTING

  • Participants selected for the second round will be asked to draft the orthographic views when provided with isometric view or vice versa.
  • Problem statement will be given at the time of the event.
  • Design is to be completed within the given duration of time.
  • The platform for drafting will be AutoCAD 2010 or latest versions thereof.

  ROUND 3: MODELING

  • Software to be used for the final round is Pro E. Problem statement will be given at the time of the event.
  • Design is to be completed within the given duration of time.
  • Time taken and the number of features added will be taken into account.

·      Finally decision will be taken by organizing committee on this.

 

10. RIGHT THING for GOOD WORD

Def: A word should be given to the participant and they have to explain the word in details about the particular things depended or produced by it.

·      Decision of judge will be final and binding.

·      They have to explain in details about the subject without failing
